The Process

The Process

In my work, I strive to capture the longing for something real, something personal.

I’ve always seen myself as a sculptor, and I approach each piece as an individual work of art. After sketching the silhouette, I set in on the real creative work: making a wax sculpture of the piece to define the dimension and details.

These wax replicas get ‘lost’ forever, melted away in the process of making plaster molds that eventually form the solid gold pieces. I finish the metal by hand, lightly, to preserve the soft marks that come from this process.

These one-of-a-kind studs, like all of my designs, are created in-house using the lost wax casting process mentioned above.

I love working with my hands and I want my jewelry to show it.
