Continuing in the theme of pearls for the month of June… this week’s Fresh Look is the perfect pearl lariat necklace, my Fine Weathered Chain Necklace with Pearl and Crystal Hook.
The necklace is 14K gold vermeil with a freshwater cultured baroque pearl. The chain is long measuring 26” total (or longer, continue reading or watch the episode). It's completely handcrafted with hand hewn textures on each link.
The soft luster of the pearl and the pop of sparkle of the crystals in the hook give the necklace subtle glamor. Overall, the piece is a timeless classic that wears well during all months of the year. Personally, I love the versatility of this piece. You can wear it as a standard necklace, with the hook placed at the very end (which hangs at the 26"). Or, if you if you move the hook up, you can wear it as a lariat necklace. The higher up you place the hook, the longer the necklace will hang.
