This week's Fresh Look Friday is my Weathered Chain & Crystal Studded Hook Necklace.
This piece is 14K gold vermeil and 16" in length. As with all of my jewelry, sizes can be customized... so you can always email me about a price in a different length. 😊
The vermeil gold chain is completely handcrafted from sculpting each link to casting every one in my studio. Each link has a raw yet refined look. I love that it looks like a very old chain that has been restored with a soft satiny finish and glow. Watch today's episode to see it in action!
The chain is finished off with two crystal studded hooks as the closure. I think the hooks are what gives this piece a little twist and make it extra fun. You can really play around with them... You can wear them dead center in the front, or slightly askew off to the side. You can also wear the hooks in the back if you have short hair or are wearing your hair up, and want a plain chain look in the front.
This piece makes a statement, but isn't overtly bold. It is rugged and raw, yet classy and timeless. It is also a very versatile chain that can easily be dressed up or down. See how I styled the look below!
